Iberojet compensation claim form and evidence

Published: 10 September 2026

Iberojet's online claim form is accessed with the booking locator and surname, but a successful submission needs more than those two details. It should tell the reviewer which flight was covered, who operated it, what happened, when the passenger finally arrived and which distinct remedies are requested. Save a copy of every field and attachment: the form is not your archive.

Check your case in the form

Enter your route, date and type of disruption. We will check whether your case qualifies for a claim under EU 261/2004 or UK261.

Step 1 of 813% completed

What happened to your flight?

Claim up to €600 for a delayed or cancelled flight.

Choose the situation that applies to your flight:

The legal position here is stated at 9 September 2026. The EU reform adopted in July 2026 has deferred application. Do not enter or accept a future nine-month claim period as though it were the current EU261 deadline.

Identify the legal flight before opening the form

Iberojet is a brand for Spain's Evelop Airlines S.L. and Portugal's ORBEST S.A. Look for E9/Evelop or 6O/Orbest on the original e-ticket coupon and operated-by line. Both are EU carriers. Their EU departures may fall within EU261, and their own flights from outside the EU into the Union may also qualify.

Direction is decisive. A Madrid–Cancún flight starts in the EU; the return starts in Mexico. The inbound return can still be covered when Evelop or Orbest operates it, but not merely because it lands in Europe. If a partner operated the sector, test that carrier. Package seller, passenger residence and payment currency do not replace this analysis.

Follow a numbered claim procedure

  1. Download the original documents. Save the itinerary, e-ticket coupons, booking voucher and operated-by wording before rebooking overwrites them.
  2. Create a one-page chronology. List scheduled departure and arrival, notice time, actual door-opening at the final contractual destination, and replacement travel.
  3. Choose separate remedies. State fixed compensation, reimbursement or rerouting, care expenses, package issues and baggage damage under different headings.
  4. Label evidence. Number boarding passes, messages, airport records and itemised receipts, adding one sentence explaining what each proves.
  5. Complete the official form. Use the locator and surname, identify E9/Evelop or 6O/Orbest, and paste a concise quantified request.
  6. Preserve submission proof. Save screenshots or a PDF of every field, the attachment list, confirmation page, date and reference number.
  7. Calendar a proportionate follow-up. If the answer is incomplete, challenge the precise disputed fact rather than opening multiple duplicate claims.

Write facts the case handler can test

Lead with flight number, date, route, direction and operating carrier. For delay, state scheduled and actual arrival at the final destination on the same contract. For cancellation, include when notice arrived, what replacement was offered and whether reimbursement or rerouting was chosen. For denied boarding, record timely presentation and whether surrender was voluntary.

Avoid conclusions without facts. “We arrived at 22:18 when a door opened, 4 hours 08 minutes after the scheduled 18:10 arrival” is useful. “The flight was disgracefully late” is not. If connecting sectors were on one ticket, attach all coupons. If they were separate, do not conceal that distinction.

Quantify each request without double counting

Fixed EU261 compensation uses EUR 250, EUR 400 or EUR 600 bands per eligible passenger, subject to distance and the legal conditions. A protected Iberojet long-haul route may reach EUR 600, but the form should show why. Shared expenses stay at actual cost: one hotel room is not multiplied by the number of occupants.

Reimbursement concerns unused carriage; rerouting completes transport. Care covers reasonable meals, communications, accommodation and transfers while waiting. Package loss belongs in a separate organiser request. Baggage delay or damage follows Montreal and its evidence and time limits. Uploading all receipts under “compensation” invites an incomplete response.

Worked submission: three passengers from Punta Cana

The Okafor family hold one E9-operated Punta Cana–Madrid ticket. Their final arrival is five hours 12 minutes late. The original coupon identifies Evelop, an EU carrier, so the non-EU departure can satisfy the inbound carrier condition. Their form begins with those facts rather than their UK address.

They request the applicable fixed amount for three passengers in one line. A EUR 96 meal bill and EUR 34 transfer receipt appear in a care-expenses schedule at actual cost. A delayed suitcase gets its own Montreal file with PIR and essential-purchase receipts. They attach the original and replacement passes, arrival evidence and all correspondence, then save the completed form locally.

If the carrier cites air traffic control, they ask it to identify the restriction, its timing, its connection to E9 and the reasonable measures attempted. They do not claim that every external event is compensable; they ask for enough information to test the defence.

Escalate the issue, not the volume of paperwork.

Read the response against five possible disputes: coverage, operator, threshold, cancellation notice, or extraordinary circumstances. Correct a missing ticket coupon if that is the problem. Challenge a generic cause with a focused request. Spanish or Portuguese enforcement channels depend on the departure and event, not the passenger's language choice.

Keep organiser correspondence separate from the airline file. An enforcement body may supervise compliance without acting as a court that automatically awards an individual payment, so preserve limitation advice appropriate to the competent jurisdiction.

Questions about the Iberojet claim form

What details are needed to access the form?

Iberojet uses the booking locator and surname. The substantive claim should additionally identify the route, operator, disruption, times and requested remedies.

Should every family member submit separately?

Not necessarily. One organised claim can list eligible passengers individually, while shared receipts are claimed once. Retain authority to act where required.

What proves the actual arrival time?

Door-opening evidence is best. Consistent airline messages, airport records, timestamped material and onward records can support the chronology.

Should baggage receipts be added to EU261 compensation?

No. Keep Montreal baggage loss in a distinct claim with a PIR, tags, inventory and timely written demand.

Does the form impose a current nine-month deadline?

The future reform period is not current law. Application of the July 2026 reform remains deferred as at 9 September 2026.
