Privacy Policy for the ClaimWinger Mobile App

The controller of your personal data is:

This policy applies only to the ClaimWinger mobile app available on Google Play. The privacy policy for the claimwinger.com website is available at a separate address.

3.1 Data you provide in the claim form

• Passenger identification data: first name, last name and correspondence address.
• Contact details: email address and phone number.
• Flight data: booking reference, flight number, airline, flight date, route and description of the event.
• Travel document attachment: a photo or scan of the boarding pass in JPG or PNG format, or a PDF ticket or booking confirmation.
• Handwritten signature made with a finger or stylus on the screen, necessary to grant a power of attorney.

The app does not require registration or login. You enter data only when completing the claim form.

3.2 Data collected automatically

In the background, through Firebase Analytics, the following data may be collected:

• Firebase Installation ID,
• Android advertising ID, unless you have reset or disabled it in your system settings,
• app events: screen views, app language, form submission and shares,
• diagnostic data and Firebase Crashlytics crash reports.

Your data may be shared with:

• airlines, to the extent necessary to pursue the claim,
• a law firm cooperating with ClaimWinger, for case handling,
• courts, administrative authorities and enforcement authorities, if the case proceeds formally,
• Google LLC (Firebase / Google Analytics for Firebase), as the provider of analytics and diagnostics infrastructure,
• hosting and IT infrastructure providers for the claimwinger.com backend, under data processing agreements.

Transfers of data to the USA take place on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the Data Privacy Framework program.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

In connection with the processing of your data, you have the right to:

• access your data and receive a copy,
• rectify inaccurate data,
• delete data ("right to be forgotten"),
• restrict processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (uodo.gov.pl).

7.1 Deleting data submitted through the app

To request deletion of your data, you have two options:

1. send an email to contact@claimwinger.com with the subject "Data deletion",
2. complete the form available at claimwinger.com/data-deletion.

Some data, if subject to retention obligations such as accounting or litigation obligations, will be retained for the period required by law but will not be used for other purposes.

• All communication between the app and servers is encrypted in transit (TLS / HTTPS).
• Only authorized persons have access to the data.
• We apply organizational and technical security measures compliant with GDPR.

The app may ask for the following Android system permissions:

• Camera / Photo gallery - to add a photo of the boarding pass.
• File access - to add a PDF ticket or booking confirmation.
• Internet - to send the form to the ClaimWinger server.
• Notifications (optional) - to inform you about the case status.

You may refuse any of these permissions in the system settings. Some app features may then not work correctly.

The app is not directed to persons under 16 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data from such persons. Claims on behalf of a minor should be submitted by their legal representative.

We will inform you about material changes to this policy in the app and on claimwinger.com. The current version is always available at the URL of this policy.
